Steam Humidity Control

Heat Cool and Happy offers professional steam humidifier installation and service in Greencastle, PA and surrounding Franklin County communities.

A steam humidifier is the most advanced way to control humidity. It generates its own moisture instead of relying on your furnace to do the work, which means stronger, more consistent humidity control no matter what system you're running.

• The unit uses electrodes to heat water directly, producing steam instead of relying on warm air passing over a pad

• Steam is released straight into your ductwork, distributed through the house as your system runs

• It doesn't depend on furnace heat to work, so it performs just as well with a heat pump as it does with a gas furnace

• A humidistat controls it automatically, targeting a specific humidity level and adjusting as conditions change

• It can run independently of your heating cycle, giving you more consistent control than a system that only works when the furnace kicks on

• More powerful output — steam humidifiers put out significantly more moisture than bypass or pad-style units, which matters most in larger homes

• Works with any HVAC system, including heat pumps, where standard bypass humidifiers often struggle to perform

• Faster, more consistent results — since it's not waiting on furnace air to carry moisture, it reaches your target humidity more reliably

• Better suited for larger homes and longer duct runs, where standard units often can't keep up

• Less maintenance hassle over time — no water-soaked pad to replace regularly
